Chapter four.

As I got let in for the next period of science I wished right then and there I could somehow melt into a puddle on the floor where no one would notice me, but as I took my seat Louis stood up not saying a word and walked out, “congrates Jayde another fantastic move”. I thought as I watched him swiftly make his way down the corridor not turning around once.

The period dragged on, with my mind elsewhere and by elsewhere I mean Louis.

The bell rang and I shoved my iPod full blast in my ears not making eye contact with any other student nudging their way past, usually I’d find someone to make conversation with but it was an annoying day, where I mess up everything and don’t feel the need to be social only towards Harry or Ciara.

As I planted myself in and empty seat at the back of my English class sighing while turning my music down, still leaving my head phones in to help me drift off, I saw Liam walk in laughing followed by the new girl… ‘Wait, what?’ I thought to myself as she sat next to him in the two seats in front of me

“Oh hey Jayde” Katy said turning around and smiling, I took my head phone out as my jaw dropped

“Hey” I said and as Liam went to fetch his book I quickly snuck in, “I see you made friends with the most attractive guy in school”

“Yeah he’s pretty cute and so sweet” she smiled as he returned placing my book on the desk next to me and getting back into conversation with Katy

I sat there most the lesson listening to my iPod and watching Liam and Katy flirt, I think everyone was though, not once in the 4 years I had been at high school had I seen him talk to a girl and this wasn’t what I call talking, they drew each other, sung to each other and exchanged numbers and as the bell went they casually strolled out of class shoulders touching and carrying on like it was only them two in the world.

I would have followed and confronted Katy while asking her to come sit with me at lunch but I felt my phone go off and this wasn’t too usual at school, even at home, I wasn’t a texter even if I had an IPhone.

Wow you really put your foot in it this time jay x

Erg Harry found out, now I would not only have myself to remind me but him as well

Don’t start x

I didn’t expect a reply and as I made my way over to the group I thought I might go see him after school

I’m coming round after school, hehehehe luv chu x

I don’t know why I check

Sweet xxx

And that was the end of that

“DID YOU SEE THE NEW GIRL AND LIAM?” Cassie screamed as I sat down on the grass placing my bag beside me

“I HAVE THEM IN MY ART” Ciara also shouted back to Cassie and half to me

The conversation grew wild as more of our group sat down, Liam being the main topic. I kept looking over to where the football posts were, waiting for Louis to run down and play, he often did with his shirt off, all the boys did but something about him made me find myself pulling away from a steer, I knew most the girls had this issue with some of the other boys as well but they all claimed to like the guy, I didn’t like Lou, “I can’t like Lou” I thought to myself in a whisper.

“What was that?” Ciara asked, she must have heard me mumble it

“Nothing, talking to myself” I smiled taking a bite of my cookie

“Nothing changes” she said pulling me in for a side hug, she knew something was up.

CHAPTER THREE.

We continued making our way to form period, which turns out she was right next door to us and in our English class which was 3rd period today, “that’s if I ever make it” I thought to myself.

“I’m so glad I’m not in that class, did you see Sheena all over Zayn?” Ciara said as we turned our heads away from the sight and dragged out our walk into form class

“They have been going out for ages though” I didn’t like either of them, Zayn never bothered to make conversation with me and Sheena was that of the popular girl at school, who I chose to stay far away from and not associate with, along with her companion Rachel who Harry had be friended very closely in the start of this year.

“What are you trying so say, Tonsil hockey is fine in class?” Ciara looked at me with a questioning and angry tone, which would have been directed them not at me, I found it cute how she felt so strongly about it.

“No of course not” I decided not to argue any feather, she had a point.

And that was the last of the conversation as we stepped into class ready to take the role and get our daily notices.

As the bell went and I made my way into the packed hall way, with students scrambling to find their classes and get seated, someone bashed into my arm causing me to drop my English folder, which of course I hadn’t bothered gluing in any of the work sheets and as they started flying underneath peoples feet I wished maybe I would have thought to glue them in.

“Well that’s a pain, all my revision gone” I said stubbornly to myself, I think tears would have pricked lightly in my eyes if I didn’t see the face I saw, Louis.

“If you want I can photo copy mine, I’m reading Animal farm too” he said with no emotion in his tone or eyes what so ever, handing me the paper he managed to grab

“Thanks” I said grabbing the sheet off him, “I think I can catch up just fine” I didn’t mean to be bitter but he made me feel so un comfortable, I was surprised he hadn’t managed a filthy comment in there.

He just stood up put a hand out to help me up, which of course I rejected and then walked with me to science where he placed himself next to me silently, much like the walk to class.

Half way through the period we got told to work with our partners, normally I would refuse to be paired with him but something was up with him today, I wasn’t getting one smart comment, actually not even a pep out of him.

This really bugged me.

“Did I do something to insult you?” I looked at him with piercing eyes, I didn’t like being the nice guy, even then no reply.

“Look I don’t like you, you take the piss out of me and hit on me thinking it’s funny but I thought we were sweet with that?” still no reply, “Oi I’m talking to you”

I nearly screamed at him, I didn’t like being ignored, I was the sort of person who was sweet and kind until you got onto my bad side and Louis was in the dog box from the start.

“Fine two can play at this game, if you want to be immature, I was thinking maybe we could sort out or issues this lesson but I think not” wow I sound snobby I thought as I swivelled myself away from him and began the work.

“My dad died, these holidays” I froze, was he mocking me, no he couldn’t be that harsh, “He was my best friend and I told him everything, even the way I teased you because I had a crush on you in primary.”

“FUCK!” I turned to look at him, tears about to spill I had not only embarrassed myself but I had hit total bitch, how didn’t I know about this, my tumming started flipping, cart wheeling maybe even the splits.

“JAYDE!” the teacher yelled over in our direction, with all heads turning away from their work and now concentrated on my, “we do not have that language in this class, step out into the corridor please.”

Mr Nates hated me, right from day one when me, Harry and Louis were goofing around in the hall way making our way to the first science lesson of the year, of course he saw this and punished us all with after school detentions, at least this time he stood there just speaking quietly so I didn’t have to tune in only to say “Yes” “No it will not happen again” and “I’m sorry sir”.

He left me out there for the rest of the period, which I spent fidgeting and panicking about Louis; I always put my foot in it.

CHAPTER TWO.

As I heaved my heavy school bag and lazy self to the bus stop, it began to rain, awesome I thought as now I would not only have the makeup rubbed off my face to expose this giant pimple but I would be sitting in physics dripping wet with none other than Louis Tomlinson, the boy I did not feel like dealing with today.

“Jayde” Ciara said as she made her way over to the bus stop under her purple and pink spotted umbrella, “good to see you’re nice and dry” she smiled moving me under with her

“Talk about bad days” I said peering out from the umbrella, “I didn’t know summer could leave so quick”

We lived in New Zealand, just finishing our 2 week holiday of term 1 it was time to enter back into term 2 which meant we would slowly be leaving our beautiful summer, which I didn’t mind at least now I wouldn’t have to worry about the sweat patches showing up on my t shirt or getting panda eyes after a swim at the beach in P.E but it did mean the end of barbeques with your friends after school and a dip in the sea.

“Erg I have double physics today” I moaned as the bus turned up

“Oh that sucks I’ve got double geography with Niall” she said winking

Niall, the cute Irish boy who moved here last year was Ciara’s crush ever since they met in line waiting for the tuck shop; they usually met there because they both seemed to share the love for food and even luckier for her he had fallen into Harry’s group which meant we often got to hang with him.

Flashing the bus driver our passes, we hoped on to find a seat behind the boy every girl dreamed of dating, he however didn’t seem to think any of the girls at school were good enough for him and you would usually see some guy giving him shit in the hall way, he went by the name of Liam Payne. And not only did he have looks to die for he had the voice of an angel, everyone learnt this last year when he won the talent quest, I often heard him humming to himself in English which always resulted in me getting told off for day dreaming.

The bus ride was a short one and gossip between me and Ciara could not be shared quick enough in this time so I would have to hear the rest in maths, my only subject with her, which was most likely why I was failing and I will admit I often found myself out in the corridor for blabbering too much

We had arrived at school to see the teacher I mostly despised sit outside the gate just waiting to tell the years nines off for in correct uniform, they would soon learn you didn’t get away with much at this school and uniform was something of top notch, walking past smiling we loved the fact she couldn’t tell us off for anything, especially not uniform, it was like this every day but today as we walked past we saw an un familiar girl getting told off, she was at the average height and size with dark chocolate brown hair and matching eyes that gave us a worried glance, Ciara read my mind turning to make our way over to help the poor thing out, the teacher dismissed her and we made our way over to where she was leaving to, quickening her pace. we had to quicken ours to a jog to catch her, tapping her on her shoulder her long straight hair flipping over it as she turned flashing us a smile,

“Hi I’m Jayde” I said, attempting to make a good first impression, “We saw you got told of by the witch”

“I’m Katy it’s a pleasure to meet you, I’m new here” her smile still showing her perfectly a lined teeth, she was pretty… very pretty, “that ah lady you called a witch… is actually my aunty”

I couldn’t explain how quickly my jaw dropped to the ground, what had she just said? Ciara however was now in a fit of laughter, nearly on the ground while I stood there in shock having no idea how to react, so much for a good first impression.

“I…I am so… sorry” I said with an embarrassed look upon my face, I must be red

“Oh don’t worry about it, I don’t like her at all, she only married my uncle for his money but then again I don’t like my uncle either so they’re perfect” still with her smile playing upon her face I knew my impression was that of an interesting one.

As we walked and talked asking her all about herself we found out she had moved from Philadelphia because her father’s job transferred him here, in between all the information I caught something about geothermal activity, which I’m assuming that would be why they came, New Zealand was known for its thermal wonderland.

CHAPTER ONE.

My name is Jayde and this is my story on how I got kidnapped, raped and lost 4 of my closest friends.

“Jayde, darling it’s time to get up for school” my mum called down the corridor, like she did every morning to wake me up.

My father had left us just after she fell pregnant with me, with just the two of us we got along perfectly fine; we had a reasonably big house, lived in a great neighbourhood and I found school a breeze, oh apart from maths I never got why the alphabet got put into it.

I flipped the sheets off that had tangled around my body, pulling and tugging at them to release me from the hold, rolling out of bed onto my floor I knew today would be that of an annoying day, starting it off with the mess upon my head that looked to be a birds nest, “Fantastic” I said a loud to myself, fixing it into a high ponytail, topping it off with the one and only school ribbon which was the only school regulation hair piece you could wear to cover up the non-regulation hair tie which for me was pink, as I slipped my hideous pleated blue tartan skirt on along with the white ankle high socks I realised it was far past the time I usually got up, my bus would leave in 10 minutes. Slipping the less hideous white top on, with matching school logo to the socks I dashed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my makeup, “oh even better” I thought to myself as I saw under the centre of my lip in the middle of my chin was a giant pimple I now had to cover up, after that mission was done I grabbed my school bag and headed for the door screaming, “bye mum” as I went.

I felt my phone go off, with a slight vibration in my pocket sure it would be Ciara asking where I was, but I was mistaken when I saw it was Harry

Not coming to school today sick in bed, have fun in physics x

Oh perfect I thought thinking of the double periods I had stuck with one of the most annoying boys I had ever met, Louis Tomlinson. I never got why Harry was such good friends with him, he sat there every lesson pissing off the teacher by either spit balling him, talking loudly, chewing gum or making rude jokes and worst of all he was always hitting on me and Harry sat back finding it hilarious.

Harry had been my best friend since I was about 3 we were joint at the hip since kindy and no one really knew why, we are complete opposites which I think was maybe the reason we attract so well, he had dated I think every girl in the school but I don’t blame them at all he was good looking and very smooth with words but far to brother like for me to be going anywhere near, I guess it was the way he burped and farted in front of me or maybe the fact that he would beat me up instead of doing the usual friendly hug, I didn’t mind though, the way he brought a smile to my face and cared about me was enough to get past the disgusting features and a plus, I had always wanted a brother.
